Jason is a co-owner of Clare Valley Veterinary Services. Before joining the SA Metropolitan Fire Service, Jason was responsible for the company's finances.
 
When not fighting fires, he continues to look after the clinic's financial needs, as well as assisting Gwen in administration.
 
Jason is a strong supporter of the South Clare Football Club and plays in the A Grade team.  Both Jason and Louise are major sponsors of the club.
